Whilst introduced in the year of 1962, the CH-47 Chinook serves as a troop transport and supply collector since they served their part in the Vietnam War and still being used today, whilst developed from the old but possible still active CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter, the Chinook have been used in wars and also were utilised by civilian companies and airlines whilst being in service for over 60 years.

It has became the most used aircraft since its introduction, mostly due to versatile capabilities showing what the Chinook can do whilst being known as a tandem rotor heavy helicopter today. Until the year of 2029, a new VTOL Aircraft is set to replace the CH-47 Chinook within the USA's service during the 2040's, but currently this new VTOL Aircraft has been confirmed, but all information about it is known to be classified at this time.

Behind the Scenes

  • The CH-47 Chinook and its Combat Chinook counterpart are based off the helicopter's original coding from C&C Generals and Zero Hour Expansion.
  • Both models have been updated for the modification, some parts such as the wheels have been modified or remade to ressemble their version in real life.
  • The Combat Chinook from Zero Hour will now feature a small 50. Caliber as a standard weapon to defend themselves against enemy units in the modification, they will also feature pair of Rocket Pods when upgraded.
